White Oak UK Welcomes Employees Back to the Office and Supports UK Small Businesses
White Oak UK has officially welcomed employees back to its offices across the UK, marking an important milestone following a challenging period of remote and hybrid working. The business has also opened its new headquarters in Chester, where it will be onboarding 40 new team members, further strengthening its growing workforce.
Over the past year, White Oak UK’s teams have shown exceptional resilience, continuing to deliver high-quality business funding solutions and customer support to SMEs across the UK. The return to the office represents not only a positive step for collaboration and company culture, but also a renewed focus on growth, service excellence, and long-term support for UK businesses.
Celebrating Employees While Supporting the SME Community
To thank employees for their commitment and hard work, White Oak UK presented every team member with a “welcome back” hamper filled with gifts sourced from UK small businesses. This initiative reflects White Oak UK’s ongoing commitment to supporting the SME community — not just through funding, but through meaningful partnerships.
The hampers were created in collaboration with small businesses including Gyfty Gifts, who supplied personalised reusable water bottles, and Bena Bakes, who provided freshly baked, handcrafted macarons.
Divya Ranchod and Atish Naratom, owners of Bena Bakes, said:
“White Oak UK was our first corporate order of 200 boxes of macarons. We are a small business specialising in bespoke macarons, and we pride ourselves on making every order special. Working closely with the team at White Oak UK and delivering the boxes by hand meant a great deal to us and gave our business fantastic exposure.”
Viraj Bharadva, owner of Gyfty Gifts, added:
“When you support handmade products, you’re not just supporting a small business — you’re supporting families, creativity, and the wider economy. That’s exactly what White Oak UK did, and we’re very grateful for the opportunity.”
Investing in People, Culture, and UK Business Growth
Andy Davies, Managing Director of White Oak UK Leases and Loans, commented:
“The pandemic was a challenge for everyone, and we wanted to thank our employees for their incredible efforts and welcome them back to the office in a meaningful way. It was also important to us that we used this opportunity to support UK small businesses at the same time.”
While remote working presented challenges, White Oak UK’s teams continued to support UK SMEs with reliable, flexible business finance solutions throughout. The company now looks forward to building on that momentum as colleagues reconnect in person and the business continues its growth journey.
The reopening of offices and the launch of the new Chester headquarters mark an exciting new chapter for White Oak UK — one focused on people, performance, and long-term support for the UK SME sector.
